Special mention to receptionist Anna who made us fish and chips for dinner and gave us many recommendations to explore the Snæfellsnes Penisula. She even helped us to find the northern lights at night!

Sok látnivaló gyorsan elérhető a hotelből autóval, de a szállodában és a gyönyörű környéken is el lehet tölteni 1-2 napot. Nagyon jó a forró vizes medence, és a vacsora is isteni volt. Cozy and quiet room with all facilities. We felt very much at home there. Great location for visiting Snaefellsness. The rooms were at the back of a very welcoming café/restaurant. It was great to have these on site. The food was excellent. We were very pleased we were given our room 1 hour early since we flew in that morning from Denver and had missed the night.

The staff was very pleasant and professional. Access to the hotpot any time (bathrobes given by the hotel). The restaurant and breakfast were excellent! Practical facilities (petrol station, pump station for tyres, wash station).

A konyha kiváló, magyar szakács készítette a vacsorankat, nagyon finom minőségi ételeket kaptunk. A szabadtéri geotermikus fürdő kúlönleges élményt nyújt. Jakob a beszélő papagáj az étterem nagyon vicces. Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom ezt a helyet.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Perfect experience! The cute traditional-yet newly renovated and very comfortable hotel is located in the beautiful old port. People working there were super nice and provided us with great recommendations. Nice breakfast :)

Hotel Stafholt has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Borgarnes. At the hotel, all rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. It is located in a central area with low tourism activity, which is suitable for an extended stay. We stayed a week. We wanted solitude with access to hikes, mountains, highlands, waterfalls and glaciers, and we got it. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff is very kind and accommodating. (We love your hospitality, Judith! And it was a pleasure to briefly meet the owner too!)
