Very friendly and welcoming host serving a delicious home cooked breakfast. All in all a hidden gem.

Situated in Hillerød, Mariegaardens Gæstehuse features accommodation with a private pool, a terrace and pool views. This place is exceptional!! Quiet, off the beaten path but so welcoming and charming. Annette greeted us when we arrived and provided a wonderful breakfast. We made a last minute reservation and she was still most accommodating. I had the best night’s sleep during our 17 day trip at Mariegaardens!

A quiet and peaceful location for a restful stay! The rooms and the shared areas are all very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing...no hot meals, but a nice variety of fruits, cheese, and other options, plus delicious home-made rolls and croissants. Majken was a great host and very knowledgeable about the area, so she has great recommendations on places to visit.

Nina was an excellent host! Our flight was delayed but she was very accommodating and allowed us to check in late. Wonderful home, very clean, spacious, excellent wifi, and it had all of the supplies we needed. The home is located in a beautiful area, very quiet and peaceful. If we ever return to the area I will be staying here again. The host and home deserve a 10+ rating.

We were made to feel very welcome by Hanne. Our dog Jack and their dog Odin had a lovely time chasing each other round the garden.

Every detail was perfect. From the soaps, cups, linens. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The Apartment was very clean, well appointed, and spacious. The large terrace has sunshine the entire day. Very modern and well equipped kitchen. The premises are located in a quiet residential area that is only a 20 min walk to the quaint city center. Within the picturesque City Center are many shops, restaurants and Museums.

Peaceful remote setting, with fire pit, sea view and beautiful sunsets. Property was clean, thoughtfully equipped, and stylishly decorated. Compact yet spacious enough to relax. Sole use of generous modern double shower room and utility facilities easily accessed in host’s farm house. Chickens and cats on farm and nearby access to the fjord for swimming or kayaking. Good location for day trips in all directions. Friendly and welcoming hosts.
